WhatsApp is becoming increasingly popular

Cell phone providers in the Netherlands have already adjusted their mobile plans due to a change in customer behavior. Traditional calling and text messaging is losing its popularity and a growing number of smartphone users is using the application WhatsApp to perform these tasks.

Whatsapp is a cross platform messenger that allows users to call and send messages to each other with their data plan. You don’t have to use the same type of phone in order to call or send media messages to each other. This means that users with an HTC Android smartphone can send messages to users with an iPhone.

The program can be run on iPhone, Android, Blackberry and Nokia phones and since it only uses the data network, users only have to pay for their data plan. Because of this phone providers feel they have to change their plans and raise their rates for data usage, as it might replace normal usage.

Right now about 43 percent of all Dutch smartphone users installed WhatsApp on their smartphone. Four months ago about 30 percent was using the application, so it gained about 13 percent in just four months. Research has shown that most people who download WhatsApp do use the program. Only 3 percent of the smartphone users that downloaded WhatsApp said they never use it.

Celebrity News Hits Hard Throughout Television

Millions of people are keeping up with their favorite celebrity rumors with a variety of different shows now filtering through a variety of channels. Much like the cables that were being pushed out by certain free speech websites, the amount of information being pushed out by these new shows is blistering, and no holds barred at times. Never before has being a celebrity been so hazardous as it is now. If a person is famous, even moderately famous, they will be hit with photographers, video cameras, spies and so much more within a short period of time. Privacy is thrown out the window in today's hectic world of entertainment.

To make sure that high definition televisions are picking up all the little flaws in celebrity faces, people are looking to upgrade their cables to the top of the line options. The right cables are important, especially since most HDTV's do not readily come with the upgrades out of the box. Once these have been acquired celebrity flaws are easier to point out than ever.

While many celebrities have work done, many are aging with a certain grace. With a high definition television, people are noticing that celebrities are not immune to wrinkles, gray hair, and aging. It has never been truer than in modern times. Entertainment is an odd box, with a great deal of focus on celebrity rather than sitcoms and other programming.
